Olutobi Adegbonmire was born in Akure, Ondo State. He grew up mainly on the campus of the then University of Ife, Ile-Ife where his parents were working. He had his elementary school at the University Staff School, and finished his secondary school at the Federal Government College Ilorin, Kwara State from where he proceeded to the University Of Ife In 1981 and obtained a B.Sc in Estate Management in 1986.

Pastor Olutobi is married to Pastor Oluosla Adegbonmire (a lawyer/solicitor and chartered arbitrator), he gave his life to Jesus Christ on Saturday March 16, 1991 at a breakfast meeting of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International in Lagos.

He subsequently attended the RCCG as a congregational member first at the church headquarters at Ebute-Metta, from where he joined the Apapa parish of RCCG at Roxy Cinema Apapa all in the year 1991. He became a church worker in May 1991 at the RCCG Freedom Hall and he served in various capacities whilst a member of RCCG.

He presently is the founder of Adonai Covenant Christian Centre Lagos, Nigeria.
